Your Liver

Your liver is one of the most important organs in your body and is responsible for over 500 functions including detoxification of infectious organisms, alcohol, heavy metals and the like. This unique, patented formula delivers up to 10 times more silymarin into your bloodstream and to your liver than standardized milk thistle. Research shows that silymarin fights free radicals, supports glutathione concentrations, and stimulates protein synthesis in hepatic cells. Phosphatidylcholine supports liver and total body health by promoting healthy enzyme, antioxidant and lipid metabolic activities, as well as producing faster functional and structural rebuilding of liver tissue and cells.

• Mixed Phospholipids (Phosphatidylcholine, Phospholipon® 90G) - In a multi-center, randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled trial, researchers reported that phosphatidylcholine, an integral component of cell membranes, supports liver health by promoting healthy enzyme and toxin fighting activities. • Curcumin C3 Complex® - Scientists have discovered that curcumins, the active ingredient in tumeric, provides many health benefits for the liver and one's overall health. They are effective antioxidants that quench free radicals and also prevent their formation. As a natural COX-2 inhibitor, curcumins target the enzymes that are responsible for inflammation and pain, but unlike conventional, non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) they do not cause gastrointestinal side effects or ulcers. Curcumins also aid in detoxification by inducing Phase 2 detoxification enzymes. • Vitamin E - The many benefits of Vitamin E are well documented. It is truly an extraordinary antioxidant that not only helps to defeat free radicals, but can also inhibit the biological pathway that triggers inflammation. What is not so well known is that Vitamin E, the body's primary fat-soluble antioxidant, can maneuver through the fatty parts of the cell membrane. However, since it is soluble in fat and not water, Vitamin E must be carried in a complex particle called a lipoprotein, which is produced in the liver. Those with a compromised liver may not be able to produce enough Vitamin E to support the body's needs and supplementation is highly recommended.

• Artichoke - Acting as a diuretic, artichoke aids the digestive process by promoting healthy bile flow and intestinal motility to optimize nutrient utilization. Artichoke also contains luteolin, which researchers believe supports hepatic cell regeneration and liver tissue health.

Usage

Take three tablets once per day 30 minutes prior to eating or as directed by your medical professional. Each bottle includes 90 tablets - a one-month supply.

Not recommend for those with bile duct obstructions or gallstones.
